The NI Pre-Hospital Care Forum October meeting with Dr Alexander Davey:

When? Thursday 30th October at 7.30pm
Where? North Lecture Theatre, MBC.
Topic? Prehospital Thrombolysis and the Immediate Management of ACS Patients.

Also, the 204 (North Irish) Field Hospital (the only field hospital in NI belonging to the Territorial Army), recently sent a group of doctors, nurses and paramedics out to Afghanistan for 3 months. They arrive back today and an event is planned for the 29th November at Castlereagh Borough Council where members of the team will speak of their experience and also give a ‘walk-through’ of the process of managing the injured soldier.
